N HP NextGenA young entrepreneurs program
Sponsored by HP Services

Start a real business, not a school project.

HP NextGen gives a young person the boring parts already handled — a proper web address, prices that don't lose money, and a simple way to track what comes in and what goes back out. They do the work and keep what they earn.

What the program actually provides

Not a course and not a certificate. A starter kit for a working service business that a young person can run themselves.

1

Your own web address

Something like yourbusiness.hpnextgen.com — short enough to say out loud and type from a phone. No Wix link, no free-hosting banner.

2

Pricing that holds up

We work through supplies, time, and fuel so a $25 job doesn't quietly cost $30 to finish. Flat prices get size and condition limits.

3

Money tracking

A plain sheet for jobs, expenses, and what's actually left. Enough to know whether the business is real.

4

Coaching on the basics

Answering customers, showing up when you said you would, quoting before the work, and getting paid without awkwardness.

What we don't do: take a cut of earnings, own your customer list, or make the business depend on us. If the site moves to its own domain later, that's fine.

Who's in the program

Each business runs on its own page, under its own name.

How to apply

The bar is a real service someone will pay for, a way to get to the job, and a willingness to finish what you quote.

HP NextGen is an independent program from HP Services. It is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any school district. Ages and availability vary by participant, and we keep the number of businesses small on purpose.
